Duroc and Galjaden Fastighets to Build New Experience Center for Duroc Machine Tool in Malmö
Duroc AB and Galjaden Fastighets AB have entered a joint venture to establish a state-of-the-art Experience Center for the Duroc Machine Tool Group. The facility will be located in the Jägersro district of Malmö and will serve as the group’s new technological and commercial hub for the Nordic and Baltic regions.
The project will be developed through the jointly owned real estate company Duraden Fastighets AB, with Duroc holding a 49 percent ownership stake. A purchase agreement has been signed with the City of Malmö, and the transfer of the property is expected to take place in June 2025. Construction is scheduled for completion in the autumn of 2026.
A Strategic Hub in the Öresund Region
Duroc Machine Tool is one of the leading suppliers of machine tools, cutting tools, technical support, and service to the manufacturing industry in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The group operates in seven markets: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. DMT represents approximately 60 internationally recognized brands, including DN Solutions – one of the world’s largest manufacturers of machining equipment.
The new Experience Center is a key strategic investment for Duroc Machine Tool. With its prime location in the Öresund region, the center will strengthen the company’s market presence, enhance customer accessibility, and support continued business development across the region.
About the Duroc Machine Tool Experience Center
Focus is on Technology, Service, and Relationships. The upcoming facility will span over 3,000 square meters and include a showroom, test and turnkey areas, as well as warehouse and logistics capacity. In addition, it will feature modern office and conference spaces. The center will showcase the latest advancements in metal cutting technology and offer customers tailored solutions in a hands-on environment.
