    At Duroc Machine Tool, we have developed a susatainable buy-back concept called Green Machining. A concept we are very proud of. Green Machining means that we offer to buy back your DN Solutions machine if you bought it from us. Afterwards, we recondition the machine, because we believe it is the obvious right thing to do.

    We take sustainability seriously

    At Duroc Machine Tool, we take sustainability seriously, largely because it’s obviously the right thing to do. Sustainability is one of the most consistent macro-trends at global level, as emphasised by the UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDG). We also do so because it makes good sense from a purely commercial perspective.

    Sustainable buy-back concept

    Sustainability and consideration for the environment need not be an airy concept that can only exist on a piece of paper in the drawer of a government office. The concepts translate into tangible actions that make sense both in theory and at a completely practical level.

    Duroc Machine Tool operates a buy-back concept, which, as the name suggests, involves us guaranteeing that we will buy back – at any time – a DN Solutions machine that you originally purchased from us.

    At the same time, we guarantee that as far as possible, the machine will be given a new lease of life. If it is in good condition, we sell it on to another customer, and if it needs some care and attention, that’s what we provide. Alternatively, we reuse any parts that are still working properly.

    How it works in practice

    We collect the machine on the terms and conditions agreed.

    We then transport it to our recycling facility in the Baltic.

    Our skilled and experienced service team inspects the machine for signs of mechanical wear and tear, replacing any defective components and updating the software at the same time.

    The machine is now good as new and ready to generate value for a new DN Solutions owner.

    Renovated machines are typically popular with newly started enterprises or SMEs that need an attractive alternative to investing in brand new equipment.

    Duroc Machine Tool delivers and installs the machine and takes responsibility for training the people who will be using it. Learn more about our standard process for delivery, installation and training.
